Windows 10: Second bonitor brightness not adjustable

I got a second monitor LCD L236VA-2E for my laptop Lenovo Thinkpad with Windows 10 Pro, IntelR CoreTM i7-68550U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99GHz processor, 4bit operating system. My problem is that I can't adjust the brightness of the monitor, only the contrast using the buttons on the monitor itself, brightness shows up but can't be clicked and whenever I open my terminal the brightness goes down even further, making it hard to properly work on it. Because of answers to similar questions I tried to update the drivers, but it stated that I already had the suggested drivers installed. I also tried to install a driver manually over the Intel Website but couldn not find my driver which is according to the DirectX Diagnostic Tool: IntelR UHD Graphics 620. Any suggestions would be great as I am depending on the monitor to properly do my work.

Brightness can not be adjusted.

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Were you able to see any error message/ error code with this issue?
• Have you tried to install all the pending updates for drivers and Windows Updates on your device?

This issue might have happened due to corrupted/ outdated drivers.
