    Hello all.


    A month or two ago I bought a HP laptop with windows 10 pro but the device has a windows 7 sticker on it. I use this laptop for personal use and today I logged on to find my license is expiring in a month.

    The seller did not tell me this or that the laptop was running windows 10, nevermind windows 10 pro.

    When I received the laptop, I reset it and set it back up. I selected that it was for home/personal use.

    Nowhere in the set up was a license mentioned. I only found out today.

    What should I do?

    Windows 10 digital license second hand

    If I buy a second hand computer with a windows 10 digital license and I reinstall windows 10 will it activate if the guy I bought it from used his account to get the license?

    Microsoft License Scam??

    Yes that's definitely a scam.

    Windows will never call you and warn you about your license expiring.

    I suggest blocking the number immediately that calls you.
