Windows 10: Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus install issues

Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus will not install on their own. I have to manually check for updates for them to install. Until then, my windows computer will not go into hibernation mode.

Security intelligence update for microsoft defender antivirus keeps installing whenever I check for updates.

I wanted to make sure my os is up to date so I went to settings and went to Windows update, but every time I click "check for updates" this thing called "Security intelligence update for Microsoft Defender antivirus" keeps popping up and installing and when I click check for updates again it pops up and installs again. I have been having this issue for a while now and I don't even know if this "Security intelligence update for Microsoft Defender antivirus" is even installing or if it's just showing that it's "installing". I already tried using disk cleanup to clear the cache for Microsoft Defender antivirus but to this day I always see this intelligent update installing itself whenever I check for Windows updates. After a while the download completes and it shows that everything is up to date but the intelligent update for Microsoft Defender antivirus was never updated.

Hello,

Windows update give me the following error: "Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.323.1916.0) - Error 0x80010108". I have tried some suggestions (see

here) for the same error but different version of the update, but it didn't help.

Any help?
