Windows 10: Security Intelligence Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 Definition 1.329.1168.0 -...

Hi,


Been trying to update the definitions of Windows Defender for many days now ~2 weeks but keep running into the same error.


Having already tried:

1 In-place upgrade via media creation tool

2 dism cleanup

3 sfc scannow

4 Disabling 3rd party software. Windows Defender is the only anti-virus


Manual install works but that will totally defeats the purpose of an update the runs so very often.


Please let me know what else can I do or does Microsoft really has an issue with this update?

Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 error

Hello

When I run Windows Update I receive the following message concerning Windows Defender:





And when I try Windows Defender itself, I get the following:





The latest definition version installed is 1.245.410.0. Can anyone suggest what might be at fault here?

Windows update give me the following error: "Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.323.1916.0) - Error 0x80010108". I have tried some suggestions (see

here) for the same error but different version of the update, but it didn't help.

Any help?

KB2267602 Windows Defender Update -- Is installing never > 0% Normal

You'll see different kinds of behavior, but that's normal. I had one this morning when I took a look at updates, it went from pending D/L to D/Ling, then pending install, to installing, to what you saw, installing - 0%, then Done an it disappeared, rechecked for updates and finally finished telling me I'm up-to-date.

All my progress indicators showed 0% *Eek *chuckle
