Windows 10: Security Update for Windows KB3213986, error 0x8007371B

Hello Guys,

I really need your help as I am fed up as this update is always failing and I have tried many things.
Error on windows history list "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3213986)"

Error on Event logs "Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8007371B: Security Update for Windows (KB3213986)."

I have tried doing multiple times sfcscannow
Used DSIM recoveryUsed by direct download from here

But nothing seems to help. Please help me fixing this.

sound and video loss

I noticed after windows update with (Security Update for Microsoft Windows KB3213986), my sound doesn't work. Also, videos don't work properly, they're super slow, buffering. These are videos from the internet and downloaded unto my laptop. After I check
the Windows update and see (Security Update for Microsoft Windows KB3213986) I know why. Once I uninstall (Security Update for Microsoft Windows KB3213986) and restart my laptop everything works fine, until Windows installs (Security Update for Microsoft Windows
KB3213986). Then, I have to go through the process again.

Any ideas,

Failed to install (KB3133431)

I solved the error in above screenshot but still facing the same issue with KB3133431 update with same error 0x8007371b.

 

Hi, note this which indicates that was replaced - and also that a new cumulative update is just out.
Cumulative Update KB3213986 Windows 10 Version 1607 build 14393.693
