Windows 10: sedlauncher.exe reading/viewing photos

Discus and support sedlauncher.exe reading/viewing photos in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; Why does sedlauncher.exe need to view all my photos that are stored on a separate disk from the windows installation?     sedlauncher.exe reading/viewing photos


    Why does sedlauncher.exe need to view all my photos that are stored on a separate disk from the windows installation? What is being gathered by reading personal photos and being sent back to the windows servers? This is a gross invasion of privacy and surely must be breaking UK/EU law?

    I don't know what is being sent back to the windows servers but I am sure that I witnessed this process reading the files on drive E: using the resource monitor.

    Hi, R,

    Read the Vishal Gupta's tutorial on the Software and yes, it can be Disabled or Uninstalled. These files and folders are used by Windows 10 update to make sure future updates and feature updates are installed without any issues in your Windows 10 PC.

    Can I view all photos in one view

    Hi Gary,

    We'd like to ask few questions to know more about your concern. Kindly answer the following:

    • Are you using the built-in Photos
      app to view your photos?
    • What steps have you tried so far?
