Windows 10: Seemingly unsolveble audio Issue - Windows 10 Lenovo Legion Y530

Hello All,

I'm having an issue with my audio where it says no Audio Output Device found. Its the same for input. In device manager, Realtek is gone and the Sound and game controllers have disappeared after I tried to unistall them, restarted, and they didnt come back. That section is missing from Device Manager unless I show hidden devices and Realtek and Intel are both not there. My High Definition Audio Controller in System devices has a code 10 error that I cant seem to get rid of by updating or reinstalling.


I tried to redownload the HD Audio from this website: https://www.realtek.com/en/component/zoo/category/pc-audio-codecs-high-definition-audio-codecs-software, but that didnt change device manager on restart. I even tried a "sfc \scannow" in command prompt but it didnt run for some reason.

The troubleshooter came up blank and I'm not sure how to fix this. When I even tried resetting my PC it says there was a problem so that didnt work. Can someone help me figure this out.

Windows 10 install error 0xc1900101 - 0x20017 Lenovo Y530

Y530 is NOT compatible with Windows 10. It is not on Lenovo's list of compatible notebooks. The Intel WiFi card is not compatible plus there are not recent drivers for some of the components. Do not waste your time with this model. There have been numerous
posts about this on many websites. Microsoft does not know and Lenovo will not support the Y530.

Are you confident you have the latest Lenovo System Update? (It's possible the software hasn't been recoded to match, I suppose, so internally still refers to TVSU). Plenty of similar reports on their forums, random example:

- so that's somewhere you could ask further about that.

There's a basic failure to make contact logged.

You could try an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data - you'll need a 1909 iso file - use the MS media creation tool.

That will reset services to default, provide a new set of drivers etc.
