Windows 10: Send email setup

Can I set the file send option to go point to and use my gmail? If so where do I find the settings to do so?

The Outgoing SMTP mail server port number depends on the your email service provider. We recommend that you contact your service provider and request for the incoming and outgoing mail server settings.

Remove the account that you're having issues sending messages, and add the account to your phone using the steps below.

Presuming that you have removed the email account you're having issues sending messages:

• Launch the Outlook Mail app.
• Tap Add account.
• Tap Advanced setup.
• Tap Internet email.
• Enter your email account credentials.
• Tap the Sign in button.

Let us know what happens after adding your email using the suggested steps.

 

Windows Live Mail 2012 refuses to send emails, claims they're spam


My wife uses Windows Live Mail 2012 and says it refuses to send emails, claiming they're spam. This is even replying to someone who is in her contacts list. I have run several different virus checks and nothing comes up. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. TIA

 

Problems: setup email

I tried to setup email which creating problem on sending mail.

EMail ID: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

username: niladrisekhar

Device: HTC-HD2

Platform: Windows 6.5

I setup the username as 'niladrisekhar'. After saving, when I edit the mail account, it is showing the username as 'niladrisekha.dey'.

The '.dey' added automaically which is not required. This causing problem to send mail. Incoming mail working fine.

I have configured another email account (EMail ID: '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***', username: 'www.') which is working absolutely fine.
