    I have a problem - on a certain copy of Windows 10, Mail Recipient is missing from the Send to menu. Solutions on the Internet mostly explain that the Mail Recipient.MAPIMail file with the text contents Mail is simply missing from the shell:sendto folder but that is not the case.I have a situation where shell:sendto contains that file, and still doesn't appear in the Send to list. Desktop.ini file contains correct icon: Mail *** Email address is removed for privacy ***,-4 and adding new shortcuts into the folder make them appear in the Send to menu. So the absence of Mail Recipient.MAPIMail is definitel

    Send To Mail Recipient Issues


    At some point in the last couple of weeks the Send To/Mail Recipient function has stopped working. When I select a file and do the send to, Windows starts thinking, the explorer window that I have selected this from stops taking input and then eventually, with no error messages, the explorer window closes and desktop explorer resets.

    My Default mail client is Outlook 2013 (15.0.4745.1000)

    "Send to Mail Recipient" not associated with Mail app?

    'Send to ► Mail recipient' works for me with 3rd party client as defaulted;

    for Windows Mail, the 'Share' link works.
