    September 11, 2018—KB4457128 Microsoft Catalogue


    My laptop won't install Microsoft updates so I have to manually download the file and run wusa.exe to install them.


    This morning KB4457128 failed as expected so I went to the catalog at https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4457128


    The last entry should be the one I need, but when I attempt to install I'm told that it's the wrong version. Looking back at the catalog I see that the Windows Server version, directly above, has the same file size as the one I need.


    I believe someone uploaded the wrong file???
