Windows 10 update: start up and sleep issues caused

    Dear Vijay,

Thank you for your response: apologies for slow feedback.

Regarding step 1 - doing a restore point : I tried this twice and twice it failed. Now, the date of the update that caused the issue (13/14 September 2019) has disappeared from the history list. Is there a way of finding it, still?

Regarding Step 2- the list of updates installed: the two suggestions above do not seem to appear in the list in the window "Installed Updates".

There are two updates listed for 13 September - Security Update for Adobe Flash Player and Security Update for Microsoft Windows.

Could you advise what I might try next?

    Thank you so much.

    September 13, 2016 update

2 of my Windows 10 version 1511 computers were updated with the Cumulative September 13, 2016 update. Immediately after the update I tried to open my File Folders and I get this error message "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing
this action. Please install a program, or if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs Control Panel".

I have applied the sfc/scannow and Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

I have applied the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth that produced my DISM log

      https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmQDRKcZ9g2poFgl-6Gcmx6292lW

      I have applied the DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth that produced no repairs.

I still cannot open my file folders, with that same popup window showing the error code as above.

Windows won't allow me to uninstall the cumulative September 13,2016, KB3150573, KB3181403, KB3161102 updates.

My third computer had updated to the Anniversary update and because of many problems I was able to reverse that update. Afterwards, this same computer updated the September 13th updates. This third computer is working fine. (Is there some kind of connection
here?) Will the Anniversary update fix my problems for the first 2 computers? My Third computer still remains Anniversary update free..

I need some answers so that I can get my 2 bests computers working normal again.

For a year I've never had this kind of trouble in my Windows 10. Why improve on something that's already working fine. Please, I need help here.
