Windows 10: Serious Bluetooth Issues

Just got a new PC - HP Z2 Mini G3 Workstation. Bluetooth hasn't been able to connect any devices since I got the computer.


I have made sure the settings are turned on and everything is discoverable, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, messed with the Bluetooth support services, completely wiped the computer and reset it to new. Nothing has worked to pair my multiple different types of headphones, iPhone and other computers. I'm lost!


Can anyone suggest anything else?

Bluetooth Headphone Connection Issues

Hi,

I would suggest to perform some basic troubleshooting steps by following the article to find out the reason and to update the Bluetooth driver.

Check the Status of the Bluetooth in Device Manager and update it:

• Search Device Manager using Cortana.
• Right click Bluetooth drivers and select the Update driver software.

Check also if the Bluetooth service on your laptop is enabled by following this steps:

• Press Windows key + R and type service.msc
• Search for Bluetooth Support Service.
• Right click on the Service and click on Enable.

Regarding your question about locking Windows Anniversary update, it is possible to postpone an update but it cannot be stopped.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
