OK, so here we are again... lovely.

Windows crashed a few days ago and I had to reinstall it, and windows is now asking me for a pass code for my keyboard without giving me a pass code. I am so sick and tired of this. I have had this keyboard for less than a week. It's becoming seriously expensive to buy new keyboards. Someone please help me solve this problem.

And how exactly am I supposed to know the pass code when windows doesn't show it?

I managed to solve problem 2. Still need help for solving the rest of the problems. This is incredibly frustrating to deal with on a daily basis.

    I made some progress.

I found my old royal kludge rk61 keyboard and connected it. One click and it works. No pass codes or issues. It just works. Sadly i dont want to use this keyboard because the keys are way too steep, but it goes to show that you can easily connect bluetooth keyboards as long as you are not being asked to type a pass code that windows refuses to show.

The problem with my bluetooth headphones refusing to automatically connect seems to come and go, right now they seem to connect just fine when i power them on, any suggestions?

Bought a couple of StarTech USB to Bluetooth Version 4.0 adapters from Newegg (about US$20 each) late last year. Hooked one up to my son's Z97 Asrock Killer Fatal1ty motherboard-based PC and it immediately recognized his wireless headphones and speaker. Good with iPhone and other devices, too.

As long as you buy from somebody who'll let you return the item if it doesn't work (or buy something very cheap), you should be OK with this strategy. Hope you find something that works on the first try/buy!

Well i tried the drivers yesterday.

First, they took an awful long time to install. After that, the bluetooth icon disappeared from the notification area. After rebooting my computer several times, the bluetooth icon came back agan. My headphones wouldn't connect, regardless of how many times i tried to connect them. Removing them and pairing them again didn't work. Same goes for my keyboard.

Windows then turned bluetooth off completely, and the button to turn bluetooth back on again disappeared as well. I had to uninstall the bluetooh drivers completely just to get my computer working again. Seems like the more you try to solve the problems with bluetooth, the worse they seem to get.
