Windows 10: Services such as Microsoft store , Xbox , microsoft edge, login could not be run on dial up...

Services such as Microsoft store , Xbox , Microsoft edge, Microsoft login , Microsoft email etc. unable to run on dial up connection . It shows check your connection. They run only on WiFi.

While other browsers and non Microsoft programs able to access Internet successfully.


Please help me to tackle this problem.

Can't Login to Store/Xbox/

As I understand from your information you are not able login in windows store as well in Xbox.

I would suggest you to run windows apps troubleshooter to resolve windows store issue.

Follow the steps.

• 
  Go to control panel and select troubleshooting then in top left corner of your screen select view all.
  
• 
  Click on windows store app and click on it and run it.
  

To resolve Xbox issue I would suggest you to post your query in Xbox forum. We have dedicated team which deals with all these kinds of issues.

Windows Store, Microsoft Edge

• On Cortana search, type troubleshooting.

Microsoft Edge..

I suggest you to follow the below steps if you are using Microsoft edge in MSN home page for changing your current location and check if it helps.

• Open edge browser login to msn.com.
• Then on the right hand side, click on gear icon.
• Go to settings, then under “market and language” and “home location” option change your current location and check whether it shows correct.

If you are using bing.com through edge browser then I suggest you to follow the below steps and check.

• Open edge browser login to bing.com.
• Then on the right hand side, click on gear icon.
• Go to “region” option and click on “change your region” link.
• Then select your country it will take your location.
