  2. Laptop Screen Resolution Windows 10

    Thanks for your response.

I completed Step 1 above. I got a popup message stating "The best driver software for your device is already installed. Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date." For what it's worth, the driver I have is shown as "Intel(R)
HD Graphics 5500", Driver Date 2016-07-01, Driver Version 20.19.15.4483.

I completed Step 2. My laptop advises that 1920x1080 is the optimal setting; when I set to anything else, it gives me a warning that what I've set it to is not the optimal setting. I set it back to 1920x1080 and it doesn't complain about the setting, but
it still actually runs at 1280x720. If I check the resolution, it says it's at 1920x1080, but it's not; it's at 1280x720. When I was running Windows 7, the laptop correctly ran at 1920x1080.

    What do you suggest now?

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds

set to 1920x1080 but it gonna be like 1280x720.

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
