I was told I could have correct time & Zone set by Microsoft Automatically! How do I do that!! Everywhere I go it asked for Administrator Acct.! For the 50,000th time We don't know it...was never told or shown where to look..This is only since upgrading to Windows 10..

My husband & I are both 71 years of age...He is retired & I unfortunately am disabled!! Neither of us are very tech savvy!! Can Administrator acct. be changed & if so ...HOW?? All we want to do for gosh sakes is have Microsoft automatically set for us!!

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

  3. Fluctuating Time Zone Setting

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

I would suggest you to check if the values for “set time automatically” and “set time zone automatically” under Date and Time settings are “ON”. If not, then suggest you to make the vale to “ON” and check for the status.

If the issue still persists, follow the steps provided below:

    • Press Windows key + R, type services.msc and press Enter.
    • Locate Windows Time from the list and double click on the service.
    • In Genereal tab, set the Startup type to Automatic.
    • Click on Apply and OK.

Hope the information is helpful. Feel free to write to us for any other assistance with Windows, we’ll be glad to assist you.
