    Thanks to all. I've marked the thread solved since there is a work around which provide shortcuts to restore the old functionality. It's a pity most users won't be aware of this unless they subscribe to an excellent forum like this.

    Never mind, I got it! *Redface

    Thing is, the Photos App won't display incremental sizes for .ico files!
    (That, and the Photo App takes too damn long to load 1 stinkin item!!!)
