That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

First of all try to restart the PC and try again. Otherwise, follow this procedure: Go to network connections, access the properties of the network adapter connected to the internet> Sharing tab, enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) and confirm by
pressing OK. Skip this step if ICS is already enabled.) Return to the Sharing tab and disable ICS and confirm by pressing OK.
Enable the mobile hotspot from the Settings panel and try again.

Note: when using the mobile hotspot, the checkboxes on the Sharing tab must remain unchecked, otherwise the mobile hotspot will not work.
