    Setting the Account Picture Failed. Please Try Again


    I've tried time and time again to fix Windows so I can use Account Pictures that show. First off, nothing has worked. I saw someone say somewhere on the internet that the problem might be with the Domain settings. Second, I look in the folders for current pictures and there are none. When I used to be able to change the profile pics with ease, I just went to the settings to change it, but every time I try that now I get the infamous "Setting the Account Picture Failed. Please Try Again." error message. I've been trying to fix this so long now that I've almost given up. Please help!

    Account picture error. Setting the account picture failed. Please try again.

    Here are some methods that I tried:

    1. I've tried adding a new user to the PC and then changing the account picture. That didn't work.

    2. I've tried doing a SFC scan in Command Prompt.

    3. I've tried running DISM commands in Command Prompt.

    I use Microsoft Account to sign in the device, but my account picture on the device is still on default.
