  1. Setting up an Ultra-wide monitor with 32:10 3840x1200 display ratio on Surface Book

I'm hoping someone might have a suggestion for me. I am trying to set up a 43" ultra-wide display using my Surface Book Intel i7 512GB SSD 16GB Windows 10 Nvidia Graphics and cannot get the 32:10 ratio set. The monitor spec call for a 3840x1200 display and the closest option is 3000x2000. There are Display Adapters on this PC: IntelR HD graphics 520 and the NVIDIA GeForce Graphics. Intel's website says that the IntelR HD graphics 520 is not supported by them because it was customized by the hardware manufacturer Microsoft. I called Microsoft support and the nice young lady said in her 2+years of doing monitor support, she had never heard of this issue but would look into it. I haven't heard back from her... Any suggestions on how to make this set-up work would be greatly appreciated. BTW, the display works great on my Surface Pro 3 with the IntelR HD Graphics Family.

Other details. I do have a Surface Doc but I am not using it at this point. I have connected the monitor directly to the Surface using the mini-HDMI port to std-HDMI on the monitor. I also have a Surface Pro 3 and I have been successful in connecting this device to the monitor with the correct display ratio. It seems the big difference is that this PC has the IntelR HD Graphics Family Display Adapter.

    Hi deanerino

Do you have an ultra wide monitor connected to your Surface, when only those resolutions appear?

Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter and Ultra-wide monitor

Is there any body, who can properly project from a PC/ laptop to an 3440x1440 external Ultra-wide monitor using Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter?

PS: "properly" means the Ultra-wide monitor runs on 3440x1440 resolution mode.
