Windows 10: Setting up new computers with exiting office 365 business users

I bought new laptops for our small org. We have office 365 log ins. Why won't microsoft recognise those accounts to let me set up the laptops? I then set it up with a phone number but it still won't let me add those org office 365 accounts as users. Help please and why is microsft making this so hard?

Recommended User Setup on a new Windows 10 Pro PC for Office 365 Business user with no other email address.

What is the recommended way to set up a user on a new Windows 10 Pro PC when that user has only one email address and that address is an Office 365 Business Premium address?

1. Set up a Microsoft Account with an email address that the user will only use for login purposes and then add a Work Account with the Office 365 email.

2. Set up a Local Account on the PC for the user to login and then add a Work Account with the Office 365 email.

3. Set up a Microsoft Account with the Office 365 email address and then add a Work Account with the same Office 365 email.

What are the Pros and Cons of the above options and is there any way to set the PC up with the Work Account as the only account on the PC?

Access now included in Office 365 Business and Business Premium

That’s why we’re pleased to announce today that Microsoft Access is now included in the Office 365 Business and Business Premium plans—designed to meet the needs of small and mid-size businesses. We’re also introducing an additional set of data sources that can be integrated with Access for Office 365 ProPlus, E3 and E5 subscribers.

Database management for companies of all sizes—large and small

Access is a great database management solution for small businesses because it makes collecting and storing data accessible on the desktop—without requiring support from an IT administrator. Access enables users to develop business applications, collect and analyze data from multiple sources, and track any kind of data, from a customer contact list to robust asset management.

Soon, Access will be rolling out to Office 365 Business and Business Premium subscribers. Access will be automatically installed for these customers as part of their next regular Office client update, rolling out between December 1, 2016 and January 30, 2017. Access will continue to be included in the Office 365 ProPlus, E3 and E5 plans.

New data sources in Access

A set of new enterprise data connectors will roll out to Microsoft Access in early 2017. These new connectors include OData Feed, Dynamics CRM, Salesforce and Amazon Redshift and will be available for customers with Office 365 ProPlus, E3 and E5 plans. These new connectors will enable customers to integrate and extend Access into other line of business solutions and databases.

The apps use data already present in Office 365, such as email data and calendar free/busy information, to power a simple and integrated experience. Best of all, the business apps are included at no additional cost in Microsoft 365 Business and Office 365 Business Premium subscriptions.

You may already have seen the Business center show up in your Office.com home page—this means that the apps are ready for you to use. If not, expect to get access in the next few weeks.
