Windows 10: Setting wont open i cant open my search bar or my windows tab

I just opend my computer one day and I try'd to type something in and it wouldn't open my search bar and windows tab this is what it said when I try'd to find a corrupt file. Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFIL

Edge opens another tab while writing on the search bar

*Original Title: tabs keep opening

When I type anything in the search bar on edge, it opens a new tab. I tried reconnecting the keyboard and restart the laptop but it wont work. I have a surface book.

 

Cortana/search bar not opening

I'm unsure how to bring up the command prompt without the search. I do not see the CMD option in complete list and of course the search bar is what we're troubleshooting.

I suggest you to sign out from the current user account, restart the computer and then sign in to the Administrator account to check if this helps
