Windows 10: Settings Not Saving After Restart

I recently purchased a new laptop and have set it up to my liking. I've pinned certain programs to the taskbar, I've configured my mouse settings, I've set up my default browser to Google Chrome, and a few other things. However, every time I restart my laptop, the settings go away. The programs I've pinned are no longer pinned, the mouse settings revert back to default settings, and a page on the Edge browser pops up saying "Welcome" or something like that, as if my laptop was starting over. Does anyone know how I can save these settings and not have them go back to default settings every time I restart? Thank you.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

Recent (Save Files) - Change Default Settings to OneDrive

Thanks for the return. Before I undertake changing the Registry, I have a question.
The steps in my Registry, for my version of Windows 10, were a bit different, but I think I eventually got to the right spot.
The last step is to change the number of places you want to list in Recent Places. In my case, the default Max Display listed 50 as the number. So, if I were to change that number, how do I know the Save As page will be one of those places? Or, a similar question, will this registry change delete the tab Recent from my Save As page? This is what I would like to happen.
When I received my computer in Nov. 2016, the Recent tab was not listed in the Save As page. Something caused it to be added over time. Which brings me to this second question. Would there be any benefit in deleting the changed registry listing and reverting back to the default listing? See attachment.
