Windows 10: Shadow copy creation returns value 10 Shadow copy provider vetoed the operation

OS: windows 10 ProBuild: 21H1I got 10 as return value when I try to create a new shadow copy.Searching, I found this microsoft articlehttps://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/desktop/vsswmi/create-method-in-class-win32-shadowcopy10 value indicates "Shadow copy provider vetoed the operation."Can someone tell me if I can create new shadow copy or there is a program installed that controls the shadow copy service?Thanks in advance

VSS (Shadow Copy)

We are using Windows 10 1703 with shadow copy enabled. For some reason on my own PC I am able to right click on a folder and see "Previous Versions" however for everyone else the list is empty. I can see the Volume Shadow Copy service does start up and run
however still do not see any folders in previous versions. Has anyone come across this before? We are not blocking or hiding the list.

On other computers there are no errors but the previous versions list is still empty on those.

 

Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider

Hi.

I am having a technical issue with my Windows 10 OS I don’t want to have to do a Factory restore it’s not big issue I am having it’s the issue with Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider. I went in to the Registry and fixed one of the values I had to fix
this one %Systemroot%\System32\swprv.dll because I was getting an error code 0x81000203. Now that Being all fixed now I cannot get the Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider to stay on it keeps stopping. I wonder if I may have deleted a value by mistake.
I was wondering can you give me a full last of Registry Values in

(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\

CurrentControlSet\services\swprv\Parameters)

 

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: A critical component required by the Volume Shadow Copy service is not registered.

I am getting a bunch of errors in the application log related to the Volume Copy Service. I first noticed it when I tried to create a recovery drive and the error simply said that "A problem occurred while creating the recovery drive"

I examined the application log and noticed that this error occurs periodically, not only when I try to create the drive. I included the four errors below.

What do I need to do to fix this?

I am using a Surface pro 4, windows 10 with up to the minute patches. I also have installed carbonite but I doubt this is the cause as I did not encounter this problem on previous PCs
