  1. Share HDDs on home network

hi all for no good reason I have 4 external hard drives , 3 are USB powered and 1 mains powered.

I would like to be able to share 1 of them on my home network with the option of being able to access them via

    android phones
    windows laptops
    android/amazon fire tablets
    amazon fire sticks
    android tv box

is this possible and if so whats the most cost effective solution?

I dont need/want to leave the drive on all the time, just access it as and when i need it?

    Thanks in advance

    BArt

    :)

  3. Cannot access shared network drive

I could scream! so much time wasted on this stupid error, as if time is not precious enough!
It probably would work fine if I could see the other computer! But I cannot see the other computer!
