Windows 10: sharing of hotspot is not working

it will be connect but the network is not coming.

Hotspot not Working

Hi Ineedhelpdudies,

temporarily uninstall the Connectify app, it may generate conflicts with Mobile Hotspot.
First of all, try restarting your PC and try again.Otherwise, follow these steps: Go to network connections, access the properties of the network adapter connected to the internet> Sharing tab, enable Internet Connection Sharing and confirm by
pressing OK. (Skip this step if Internet Sharing is already enabled). Return to the Sharing tab and disable Internet Connection Sharing and confirm by pressing OK.
Enable the mobile hotspot from the Settings panel and try again.

Note: When using the mobile hotspot, the checkboxes on the Sharing tab must remain unchecked, otherwise the mobile hotspot will not work. Then post a screenshot with the error message if mobile hotspot still does not work.

 

Enable Internet sharing/Mobile hotspot on Lumia 950

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot Not working

Hi,

Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and select Devices.
• Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.
