Discus and support sharing problem with windows 10 ver 1909 [build 18363.1256] updated in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; I am having a peculiar problem on my wife's computer.     I am having a peculiar problem on my wife's computer. I am trying to set up sharing with our home network.
    I set up user/name/documents to be shared using advanced sharing and set to everybody read/write. This share works as expected - I can access files on her computer and edit. My computer is Win 7 BTW.
    I then proceeded to set up sharing on pictures, videos, and other main folders. The folders are set up exactly the same way I set up documents. They are visible on my computer, but I cannot access them. And she has full access to all my shares.
    This doesn't make sense, and many different ways were used to google this with no hints.
    So... quick summary windows 10 shares multiple folders, giving permission on only one.

    Received notice, on my computer, that I needed to take the free update to windows 10 before my current version expired.

    I updated, the whole OS on 02/23/2020. Specs:= 1909, 18363.657, Build 18363. I now CANNOT change my default browser identification. Microsoft Edge is set as default, surprise, and I can't seem to change it to anything else, e.g. Firefox

    Suggestions???
