Windows 10: Short Width Search Bar

So I Opened My Other Computer and i noticed that the search bar is kinda short1st image: my computer2nd image: came from another computeri compared both of the imageshow do i make the search bar wider?

From the description, I understand that you are still receiving the pop up notifications, despite having disabled the search functionality in windows 10.

Steps to disable the Search Bar

• Right click on the task bar.
• Select the "Search" option.
• Select "Disable."

However, if the above steps don't work out, perform the below suggested steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Open a CMD window started as Administrator.

Repair corruption: Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth.

Run this command next: Sfc /scannow

Now run these two commands:

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

vertical taskbar width

Disabling all optional tool bars (like e. g. Desktop, Links) in the task bar will allow you to shrink the width to two symbol columns. I hope MS will fix this in the future. Even if the name of a custom tool bar displayed in the task bar is very short
there is a minimal width for the whole taskbar than...

 

Adjust scroll bar width

To address the issue with scroll bar width in Windows 10, you may adjust the setting from the Registry Editor. Here are the steps:

• Type in regedit and press Enter.
• Go to this location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop/Windows Metrics.
