  2. File back up to bitlockered external drive

    Thanks John.

By trial and error the solution is,

    • Set the file back up to the desired external USB drive, Back up using file history.
    • Run backup to completion.
    • Dismount, (Remove) the drive used.
    • Remount (Plug in) the drive used for the file back up (Steps 1&2) and encrypt using Bitlocker.
Note you can only encrypt drives using some versions of Windows (Pro for eg not Home)

    • Once the external drive has been encrypted dismount.
    • Remount the drive, go to the file back up option, Open, Settings, Backup,
      Back up using file history
      .
    • The drive should now still be visible and has been encrypted.
    • Accessing the drive will be dependant on how it was set up in Bitlocker,
Open with this PC, password, pin code
      etc.
    • Repeat file back up as in the first two steps.

    Hope this helps someone else.

  3. Backing up a ps3?

    Go to 'My Computer'
    http://img.techpowerup.org/110127/Capture035.jpg

    Right click the drive
    http://img.techpowerup.org/110127/Capture036.jpg

No drive A will not be already in fat32.
Unsure what you mean? Read 5. Allow PS3 to format drive B. While this is taking place see Step 6.

Also see above, I revised a step.

    That is correct.

Can I back up to external hard drive and another PC on my networK

Win 10 Pro Back Up Capability.

Can I back up to multiple places?

I have an external hard drive and I am currently backing up some of my folders. Not all due to size limitation of external drive.

I have two other PC on my home network, lots of space,

Can I also back up my music to one and my pictures to the other.

When I went to back up / advanced ; it said I'd need to stop current back up to add another.

This does not seem like it should have to be.

Any suggestions, I'd need rather simple but complete steps.
