Windows 10: Should I install Windows 10 or not?

Well thanks, I will always give what ever help I can. In my last statement I said that my system works fine when it wants to. Well that statement is incorrect. When I upgraded Windows 10 recently from the previous build to the new build 10122, I had disabled the dual boot to allow for any easier restart, otherwise I would have to sit here and monitor each time Windows wanted to restart my machine. Well that whole process went real smooth and I now have the dual boot set back up and there is absolutely no problems. When I start up my computer it goes to a screen that allows me to select which OS to boot into. It is all smooth and really behind the scenes once I am logged into which ever OS I choose. I am really digging Linux Mint 17.1, it is a nice smooth OS and I highly recommend everyone to at least give it test drive.

 

Oh yeah, one more thing. I went to a dual boot over the virtual machine only because the virtual machine used too much CPU processing and power and my CPU started to run just a tad bit too hot for my tastes. With a dual boot there is absolutely no extra strain on my system.

 

I found out a thing that seems quite complicated to me. And I don't want to do anything wrong to my laptop again. So, no dual booting.
I will erase my USB stick and use LiLi Rufus to burn the iso. And when it expires, I'll install Ubuntu again, then I will need to be away from my laptop so i can not be startled. *Eek!
​That is what I said. But to explain further, i will make a ubuntu backup after using my windows 10 iso. But now I have another concern. How the heck do i get windows 10 installed. It won't let me do some things to my primary drive! Erase or what? The warning when i click erase is exactly right - If i have important files on there, my computer won't be functional.The question is now,what do I do to my hard drive!

 

Oh the virtual machine of windows 10 is absolute Garbage! It's so slow. VirtualBox your true behaviour has been busted! *Busted*Busted

You create an image backup of your hard drive to an external USB hard drive using a program like Macrium Reflect Free.
