    Should i uninstall Office 2007 before installing Office 365


    I have Office 2007 installed on my PC and will be installing Office 365. Would it be best to uninstall the previous version before installing Office 365? What will happen to all of my Word and Excel Files? I will back up the important files to a thumb drive but how will the files integrate into the newer version of Office? I am running Windows 10 and have no problems at all with the system.

    Installed Update History

    Don't worry about the the Office 2007 update. The uninstall of 2007 left remnants in the registry leading Windows Update to think it's still installed. Don't worry about it.

    Yes I would uninstall 2007. What will happen to your files, nothing. Different office versions will fight over file associations thats about it
