Windows 10: Showing eject of the internal drives

Yesterday I tried to convert the SATA options from IDE to AHIC

I searched over the internet and found that I can't directly change those options and I need a windows registry fix to do it, so I did that and changed the SATA option from IDE to AHIC

At boot up I got an error saying that there is no "Operating system wasn't found try to disconnect the hardware containing the os " but I entered a key and started the os

after some restarts t found that my internal HDD and SSD are appearing at the taskbar like a removable disk

I found that it's a weird




Is there any problem with that

how can fix that

does this happen because of changing the SATA options

To assist you better, please provide us the below information:

• When you say that "not I can not get it to show up in bottom right lower", are you referring that you are not able to see the Eject USB icon under the show hidden icons?
  

I suggest you to follow the steps below to understand the system

1. Click on Search bar.

2. Then type "Select which icons appear on the taskbar" without the quotes in the search bar and click on it.

3. Turn on Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media icon.

Accidentally ejected internal storage (Windows 10)


I have ejected my internal hard drive by accident on Windows 10 (it came up in the list of removable devices).

When I go to device manager the disk still shows up but in the properties panel it says unavailable as it needs to be disconnected and reconnected.

Is there a way to get the disk to mount again without physically having to open the machine and dis/re-connect?
