  3. how to add a portion of disk into another hard disk partition in windows 10?

    Hi Hamiul,

I realize the inconvenience you are facing. Let me help you in resolving the issue.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if that helps.

    • Run Disk Management. Open Run Command (Windows button +R) a dialog box will open and type "diskmgmt.msc".
    • In the Disk Management screen, just right-click on the partition that you want to shrink, and select “Extend Volume” from the menu
    • Locate your system partition — that’s probably the C: partition. Right-click on it and select “Shrink Volume.” If you have multiple partitions on your hard drive, you could also choose to resize a different partition to free up space.

Hope the information helps. Please let us know if the issue persist and we will be happy to assist you further.

    Thank you.

hard drive issues and miss detection of hard drives

Thank you for the screenshot. By the way, Since when did you notice that your HDD shows 100gb? Have you made any changes on your PC prior to this issue? In the meantime, try to resize the partition. Open Disk Management and follow the steps below on how
to shrink or extend a partition.

    • Shrink a partition
    • Right-click Windows key and click Disk Management.
    • In the Disk Management, right-click the partition you want to shrink and select Shrink Volume.
    • In the Shrink dialog box, input the amount you want to shrink the partition by. Say you want it to shrink by 5gb, input 5000.

    • Extend a partition
    • In the Disk Management, right-click the partition you want to shrink and select
      Extend Volume.
    • In the Extend dialog box, specify the amount that you want the partition to increase by.

    Update us with the result.

    Regards.
