    Sideloading appx files crash on start


    Hello! I wanted to install windows apps that were removed from the windows store a long time ago such as Angry Birds Space. When I install the appx file through powershell and run the app, it crashes. Any ideas?

    To get the appx file, I first went on https://archive.org/web/ and looked for old versions of the microsoft store. I then got the link of the app I wanted, put it in https://store.rg-adguard.net/ to get the appx file.

    Why would you want to do that, when the OneNote app is available in Microsoft Store?

    Sideload apps on Lumia 535

    Hi,

    Zune is useless for the devices with WP8.x and later as OS.

    If you want sideload XAP/APPX/APPXBUNDLE files, you must do so on a Windows PC via the sideloading software of WP8.1 SDK.
