Windows 10: Sign in page, removal at switch on

Hello. I have just reinstalled Windows 10 on my ASUS laptop and now encounter the Sign in page when I lift the lid. I would far rather go strait to the desk top page as I used to. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the Sign in page?

Switching microsoft accounts

Microsoft's recent update removed a user's ability to sign out of one Microsoft account and into another on the user's home page. I've found you can still switch from one email account to another in Microsoft Edge. Go to Hotmail, outlook, or live sign
in in your Edge browser and sign in or out of the account you want to use without signing out of your original login screen.

When does this popup display? Are you trying to reach a Microsoft website of some kind?

 

Just delete the user account but it's good security practice to secure with an account

 

I think you probably wish to not log in on resuming..

Good- you can sleep in peace now..

 

Press Windows + X then click power options. There should be an option that allows you to decide whether you want your password to be required on wakeup. By default, Windows 10 requires that you type your password when you wake your computer from sleep or hibernation.

 

Do you see the thumbs up sign
Find their post and click it
You will have to do each one and they will get a Rep ok
