    Hi,

in the last couple of days, I've been getting a low-quality picture of some random guy at my sign-in screen. I googled for any similar experience, none. Then I googled for win folders where those pictures are located, there is not such a pic (although there might be some other folders I should look into). I use this laptop in a very clean fashion: no illegit apps (jDownloader being the only shady one), no cracked software, no torrenting, no porn...

This pic is shown under Setting -> Personalization -> Lock Screen

    Random guy wallpaper

I ran Windows Defender scan, now I'm running Avast (free version) scan.

Win10 is set up to download and randomly show sing-in wallpapers.

But this login screen doesn't look right. Everything is off. Content (the first time I see a human face), quality, positioning...

Anyone experiencing anything similar? Does anyone know what is going on?

    I'm a bit worried.

    Thanks

    Sign-in Screen Disappears

    Hi Ermie,

It is possible that the sign in screen disappears due to corrupted system files. To assist you better, we'd like to gather more information:

    • Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?
    • Are you able to see the password box?
    • Could you provide us a screenshot of the sign in screen on your end?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

We're looking forward to your response.

  3. App Store sign-in error, 0xD000000D

    Hi Suzanne,

There's a possibility that you are currently signed in on your computer using your local account. For us to sort this out, we suggest that you sign in with your Microsoft account instead. Follow these steps:

    • Open Settings > Accounts > Your email and accounts.
    • Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions.

Once signed in with your Microsoft account on your computer, try signing into the Windows Store app.

    Update us with the result.

    Regards.

    Sign-in screen, possible virus?

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
