Windows 10: sihost.exe error

Im on Win10 Home x64...I noticed I needed to restart my pc for a new update. I dont think this update was the culprit as I have a 8-10yr old clone pc. Anyways, I was in Win10 when my system froze up, happened a few times before, figured it was possibly overheating. I do have my system overclocked but has never been a problem. So the SIHOST.exe error popped up on my reboot. I was able to close the pop up bu then saw some flashing ,screen is black, cant go any further.
Re-booted into safemode, tried,repair,roll back update, command prompt, scannow.,reset pc....nothing works.
Just now I rebooted and it went pass logo then saw the windows "ran into a problem" screen came up.
I am able to access my hdd thru linux as I dual boot (on it now). Was hoping to just replace the sihost.exe file but now cant find any d/l sites....can anyone help?

windows version 1803. sihost exe. error May 18, 2018 update crushed my OS

im not sure what is happening on the latest windows update on windows when i updated may asus laptop, it was totally unusable, black screen, sihost. exe error, desktop was unavailable, start menu is also not working, explorer exe. error also, pls provide
a solution coz im frustrated on what ur update have done to my laptop.
