    Silhost.exe - Unknown Hard Error


    This error has recently come up on my screen just simply after trying to boot up the computer. I can log in to my user but from there, the screen goes black with some flashing. I cant acess start or command prompt. I cant run any new tasks via task manager because the screen blinks too much and doesnt allow me to type. ALT + CTRL + DEL works though. Ive tried entering safe mode and resetting my computer using Shift + Reset on the login screen and it takes me to advanced settings, but it when i try to enter safe mode or completely reset my device, it jusy gives me an eternal black screen after shutting down and then just turns off on its own. I really dont know what to do anymore.

    Hi Parren, Usually, the System Warning: Unknown Hard Error is triggered by corrupted system’s files or registry entries . ..

    At the top of that error dialog there should be a process or dll listed in the dialog header - what is listed there?

    Unknown hard error

    Hi,

    My laptop had been perfectly fine all day yesterday, but when I went to watch TV on it in the evening the screen suddenly went all blue and it started coming up with “Unknown hard error”. I tried a couple of suggested solutions like pressing Windows + R
    (suggested by Google) but to no avail as nothing happened at all.

    Can anybody help?

    My PC recently updated and I have an empty deskstop. Believe it's due to sihost.exe unknown hard error. I tried to do the 5 fix at Fix: sihost.exe Unknown Hard Error after Windows 10 April 2018 Update 1803 | Driver Talent

    I have done "Perform a Clean Boot on Your Windows 10" but it did not work.

    I could not Run SFC/Scannow Command and Run CHKDSK Command Press Windows + X is not working.

    Likewise my start menu is not working.

    Please help
