Today I went through hell trying to recover a windows 10 system. After buying a new laptop for my 9 year old son, we put his email address by mistake in the windows 10 first use to configure his machine. Being a minor I realised it was wrong to use his email and it wouldn't let me change the admin email no matter how much I tried, so I had to recover the machine.

Upon recovery the damn machine went into an infinite loop of updates stuck at 64% constantly rebooting for hours!

I'm now doing a factory reset again after reading numerous forums and hope it fixes.

However, this isn't the first time. Since Win 95 I've had constant headaches and fail to understand why its so difficult to create an operating system that just boots up quickly and lets you get to work.

Everyone is aware of Microsoft monopoly as being the platform of choice for hosting other software, but eventually it will give way to other vendors. I really think Microsoft ought to overhaul how they do things, who they hire and really look into customer satisfaction using their products.

This is not normal that people are wasting hours of their life trying to get computers to actually just perform their intended purpose and nothing else. We need to see changes, soon.

    :)

  2. Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
