    Sisoftware Sandra reports bad ram?

Sandra reports two of my ram modules as (bad), but I don't think they are bad.
I think instead Sandra can't identity the make and model.

Two sticks show manufacture and ser #, but the other two say (bad)
The two unidentified sticks are older, and the two identified are new.

I've run mem tests with no reported errors, and every app and Windows reports all my ram present.
    Should I be concerned?

    :)

    User name change

I need to change the user name on win 10 PC. The PC was mine (Warren) but is now (Sandra – my wife). The administrator name is Sandra and the PC name is SandraPC but, the users name is
C:\users\warren. How can I change the name to read C:\Users\sandra? All folders have the user names Warren (Not Sandra) in C:\ drive\. All help will be greatly appreciated. As you know this situation creates all kinds of problem and I must change
the name. One would think it would be simple but it is not

    Sisoftware Sandra reports bad ram?

There is a RAM memory test on the tutorial forum. MemTest86+ - Test RAM . If you have the time you could run this test, if your RAM show as ok I would disregard the other test results.

I suspect you are right. For some reason Sandra is unable to identify the RAM manufacturer and reports the memory as bad. That is a very questionable conclusion.

Because of the way Windows uses memory it isn't possible to do a meaningful memory test while Windows is running. The same for any modern operating system.

Memtest is a dos based test program. It didn't find any errors.

Odd...I bought the CT5 based on a Crucial recommendation.
I might replace all my ram wit two 8gb sticks, so I'm sure they match.

Yeah, the CT5 not being on their list surprised me, too.

    Sounds like a good plan.
