For me, The camera App works fine. but in Skype and "Office records", the image is upside down. How to fix this?

Asus built in Camera displays upside down Win 10

I’m using an Asus UL30A that was Windows 7 (64bit) and upgraded to Windows 10 earlier in the year.



First of all thanks for this fix and for the simple to follow instructions – been searching for a solution to this problem for ages. It’s been easy to do (once I remembered to unzip the file). So now Skype works just fine and
I can even take a picture when on Skype. I mention this as proof the camera works as I have came across a further issue.



When I try to open the camera app itself it comes up with an error stating ‘ We can’t find your camera’ and lists fault as 0xA00F4244(0xC00D36D5). Checking this fault out with Microsoft really only suggested rolling back to
previous driver. Which, to state the obvious, just resulted in camera and skype being upside down again. So I've reinstated the new driver again.

I’ve checked the details for drivers etc and there are obvious differences in this later version downloaded today from Asus, namely different provider, version etc so I am presuming a mismatch somewhere in all of this. I’m
more than a bit puzzled as the camera works in Skype (so logic says its working) but not as an app on its own?

So seems I have a choice of having an upside down camera that works upside down in Skype too or, keep Skype the right way up and not worry about the camera on the notebook that we’ve never used before other than for Skype. So
for now I’ll keep the change as the Skype is more important to me but would like to fix this eventually so any ideas welcome and I will keep searching for a solution. I'm not really a techy person but hate to have this beat me!

 

Camera image upside down after updated Winddow 10

My Fujitsu laptop is about 3 years old. The camera image is upside down after the system updated to Window 10, even I also updated the latest camera driver, the upside down image still happen in YouCam, Skype .. etc.

Can anyone help ?
