Windows 10: Skype invites?

Open Skype > Tools > Options > left side, Privacy > see screenshots

 

I've only had a few but it's starting to get irritating.

 

I can't find or do not have that option.

 

Skype for desktop? Tools>>Options>>Privacy>>Advanced

 

You get your Skype from Windows Store ?

I installed mine from the web, a desktop version.

 

I have the version that came with Windows 10. I haven't downloaded or installed anything for Skype.

 

I don't remember that part................. " came with Windows 10 ".
Any chance you can uninstall it and then go to the website and install Skype ?

I was able to uninstall the version of Skype that was on my computer. I downloaded and installed Skype and now have the options shown. I'll check my laptop and see what version of Skype is installed on it. I hope those settings makes a difference.

 

The desktop version has more security settings then the app that was on my computer so I'm going to mark this as solved.

Have you ever wondered the same thing about Spam email? It's basically the same thing with Skype. Think of the unwanted invites the same way you think of Spam email, because they are basically the same just a different application.
