Windows 10: SkypeBackgroundHost.exe - system error

I woke up to find this error:


SkypeBackgroundHost.exe - system error
The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application.


This comes one day after my first ever BSOD.


I'm unsure what to do here. MalawareBytes finds nothing. I ran an SFC scan and it did find and repair some corrupt files. Is there anything else I need to think about in trying to get my system back to good health?

Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
