Windows 10: Sleep mode for Windows 10 on a HP PC

My PC will only occasionally change to sleep mode when left for a period of time (in Settings the current setting is 15 mins sleep, screen off after 5 mins) or when instructed to sleep from the start screen. When I instruct sleep at the on-off button, the computer switches off then immediately starts again to the welcome screen.


Any ideas to cure?

Windows 10 PC will not go into sleep mode

My new Windows 10 pc set to go into sleep mode after 2 hours and it doesn't happen - I can put into sleep mode manually but often it comes out of sleep by itself. I have tried all of the suggestions and have had no luck.

 

Sleep Mode in Windows 10

I do not have an option listed anywhere for putting my computer into sleep mode. I only have shutdown or hibernate. I have read a lot of posts about sleep mode but none of them help as "sleep mode" doesn't show up at all. It works on my laptop but not
my PC. I have an HP. Please help.
