    Why did this occur? PC had been in Sleep mode 3-4 hours. Message remained onscreen only 2 seconds. Nothing untoward could be found happening on PC. Any suggestions?

    New Feature Suggestion: Turn of email alerts in the middle of the night

    G'Day,

    I have alerts turned on for when I receive a new email (The phone plays a tune). I like having the alert turned on but I would like a setting that can let me choose a time of night when it will no longer alert me of a new email.

    The reason I want this feature:

    Last night at 3AM in the morning I received a new email on my phone and the thing played noises so loud it woke me up and others in the house.

    I would like to set a time of night so it will stop alerting me of new emails (and a time of day to resume alerts).

    A simple request so I can sleep without being woken up by my phone.

    windows 10 very loud and very piercing beep twice 5 times a day

    all night long and not a single beep. i muted system sounds in volume mixer which sounds bad but i have system sounds set to none in the control panel so i'm not missing anything other than that annoying loud and piercing beep. though it makes me wonder what the source of the beep is if it's coming from system sounds. thanks for all the helpful suggestions even though i'm the one that figured it out.
