    Slideshow Problems


    1) When I open a picture folder and use the slideshow, it doesn't go through all the pics in the folder and I can't for the life of me cypher a way to correct it. It will show maybe 20 or 30 pics in a loop and that's it - it won't show all the rest of the pics. Very annoying. Is there a way to set it to show ALL the pics, in a loop?

    2) There are no right click options in the slideshow mode. I can't control the speed or any loop/not loop modes. I've looked all over for a way to do this to no avail. Again, very annoying.

    3) Is there a better picture viewer app I can DL to my computer?

    Making a theme a slideshow in Windows 10

    Hi.

    The problem with the slideshow not working is most likely your power settings. In order for the slideshow to work you need to change your power settings. 1st right click the start button and click Power Options. Then click change plan settings. Next click
    Advanced power settings and then Desktop background settings. Click on the tab that says slideshow and change paused to available. Your slideshow should work now if you had this problem too.

    Slideshow Problems

    I had a similar problem. In the personalization window after clicking "browse." I was using a quick access shortcut on the left of the explorer window to make the new folder selection. The selected folder would not change.

    I was able to resolve the problem by selecting the drive where the folder is stored and browsing to the folder I wanted to select instead of using the shortcut. This way, the full context would appear at the top of the window. The folder selection changed and the background slideshow resumed functioning normally.

    I also deleted the slideshow file under C:\Users\SDB\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes
