    Product: HP Pavition 15 Notebook PC
    Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit

    My laptop has an Intel i3-4030u processor, speed 1.9Ghz with 8GB of RAM and 912GB hard disk of which I am using 120GB which I think I bought on 2014. It has been running slow for some months since a Windows 10 upgrade. By slow, I mean that, when typing an email or in Word, I have to wait some seconds for what's on screen to catch up with what I've typed. I was thinking I needed to buy a new machine but my spec looks comparable to what's on offer these days. I have done the obvious things including the free Mcafee overhaul and spent a fruitless £95 on an IT professional whose only change was to delete Malwarebytes we were unlucky because Mcafee decided to update during his time with me which slowed everything up. Should I investigate further, or do I get a new machine?

    Slow laptop

    Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

    I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?
