Windows 10: Slow Pc, programmes Don’t respond, takes long time to restart.

Hi everyone,


I’ve been experiencing some problems with my pc. Everything worked perfectly and a couple days ago it started going very slow, all of a sudden the programmes needed ages to load or they shut down.


I’ve searched online and nothing works. I’ve ran it on safe mode and it still runs slowly, The task manager says almost nothing is running on the low, I’ve searched for virus, I’ve defragged the hard drive...


Please if someone could help I would be very thankful, I need the pc to work.

To assist you with your concern, we suggest you to run the System Maintenance Troubleshooter to check and see why your PC is running slow and unresponsive. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting. If you cant find the option, click View By and select Large Icons.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
