  3. Advise for/against engineering sample cpu

So are they identifiable through a print on the dye, BIOS or CPUZ (family, stepping, Model, revision) ?

Can anyone post a CPUZ of an ES cpu please?

It could equally be a genuine part being "suggestively" marketed.

I suggest that you change or uncheck Use small taskbar buttons by following the steps below:

    • Right-click the Taskbar.
    • Select Properties.
    • In the Taskbar tab make sure that Use small taskbar is
      uncheck

    • Click Apply and OK.
If the issue still persists, you can change the size of desktop icons.

    • Right-click an empty space on the desktop.
    • Select View and choose either Large, Medium or Small icons.
    • Check if you can change the size of the taskbar button.
Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

UEFI boot -- get rid of loads of OS'es (about 7) on boot menu: Upgrading macOS destroys Windows boot too if you dual boot using EFI. It will wipe it or any other boot manager from the list.
