Windows 10: SMB to external storage

Discus and support SMB to external storage in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Does anyone know how to access shares on USB-connected drives via SMB/Samba from another network device?     Does anyone know how to access shares on USB-connected drives via SMB/Samba from another network device? I can see them from another Windows PC, but not from anything else. Used to work under W7.

    MS KB3105213 breaks SMB access when using VPN

    After the installation of update KB3105213 today (13th Nov 2015) I was unable to access my NAS. It uses SMB2. I found that if I turned off my VPN the external storage was working normally again. I can work around by enabling/disabling the VPN but it not
    really a practical solution. I'm not sure if this is problem with the update, the VPN client or some component of the SMB stack.

    I wondered if anyone might have a better solution or ideas.

    SMB protocol on Windows Mobile.

    Hi team,

    I am running WM 6.1 Standard and I would like to know if is possible to access it's storage card or main memory from ethernet network, after it connects to WI-FI network and gets an IP address, usingL: \\mobilephone\share (SMB
    protocol) or something like it.
